Method and scope
Three official lists, loaded daily: the U.S. Treasury OFAC SDN and Consolidated lists, the UK Sanctions List (OFSI) and the UN Security Council Consolidated List. FACTANKER records only organisations, vessels and aircraft — never individuals. "Listed since" is the designation date the list itself gives (UK, UN); OFAC publishes no date per entry, so for OFAC it is the day the entry first appeared in a publication FACTANKER loaded (earliest 27 July 2026). An entry counts as removed when it is absent from a later publication. Names are matched across lists by exact normalised string only; no fuzzy matching, no ownership inference. This is a lookup aid with a link to the filed record, not a compliance screen and not legal advice — a decision needs the official list and the full designation text. Bulk lookups and a change feed: Sanctions & Exclusions Screening (Pro). Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
