Corrections & versions

FACTANKER never silently edits the record. Two mechanisms make every change traceable:

• Supersession, not deletion. When an official source revises a value, the old fact is marked superseded_by the new one — both remain permanently addressable, and every fact page shows its history.
• Article corrections are labeled. If a published finding contains an error, the article is corrected in place with a dated correction note; the claim’s evidence links are updated in the same edit.
