Method
Source: NCUA 5300 Call Reports, every federally insured credit union, quarterly since 2015Q2, amounts in whole dollars as filed. One row per credit union and quarter. Percentiles are percentile_cont over all institutions of the group in the same quarter, computed in the database; ratios use the filed lines (income year to date, annualised with 4/quarter). Credit unions are not banks: shares are member deposits, net worth replaces equity, and the NCUA net worth ratio is the capital measure regulators use. Every figure links to its filed record. Bank benchmarks (FFIEC Call Reports) use the same method.
