Questions
Where does 'government share' come from?
USAspending obligations recorded for the company's resolved entity in a fiscal year, divided by the revenue the company reported to the SEC for the same year. Both sides link to their source.
Why are some companies missing?
The share needs both an SEC filing with revenue and matched SAM/USAspending registrations. Companies without one side appear in the award tables but not in the ranking.
Does it include grants and loans?
Obligations include contracts, grants and other financial assistance as published by USAspending; the award type is a field.
