Operate, fabricating machines, sandblasting equipment, forklifts, and carpentry tools. Responsibilities include moving equipment/loading trucks with forklift, sandblasting or cleaning a variety of surfaces for the painting process, and packaging equipment for shipment within boxes and crates. Review schedule, prioritize daily work, review specifications and blueprints to determine machine and material requirements. Review inventory against anticipated work load to maintain adequate stocking levels. Detects and reports defective materials to management. Design and implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve throughput. Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
