Perform all regular small animal primary care medicine and surgery, including provision of the emergency service depending on the demands of RUVC. Flexibility to work overtime/unsociable hours, including weekends and holidays for the purposes of emergency cover. (60%). Participation in Introduction to Clinics and Essential Veterinary Skills (EVS) courses. This involves supervising seventh semester students when they are participating in rotations in RUVC and also students from other semesters participating in EVS labs. The goal of these teaching exercises is to impart the fundamental knowledge base and skills that pre-clinical students need in order to proceed into their clinical year.
