SENIOR PLC: Resistance Welder B

Summary: Spot weld and seam weld parts or products following standard procedures. Set up machine, select proper electrodes and wheels, holders, regulate time, current and pressure. Properly space number of spot welds or roll welding to varying conditions for proper fusion and avoid distortion and burning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Set up assigned spot by determining and selecting, mounting and aligning tips or wheels, adjusting machine to exert proper pressure, adjusting voltage, amperage and tuning of current to obtain desired spot or specified material, where procedure has been standardized.
