SENIOR PLC: Truck Driver / Receiving Clerk

Summary- Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment and transports them by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Receives pick-up and delivery orders from supervisors and route instructions to be delivered efficiently. Loads all parts on trucks for delivery to vendors and customers ensuring that shipment is securely tied down. Verifies and is responsible for safety of load to assure deliveries of parts and materials reach destination without loss or damage while being delivered. Verifies pick-ups and deliveries against shipping documentation and handles all necessary paperwork. Drives truck through a variety of traffic and areas, observing all traffic and private property rules governing trucks.…
