SENIOR PLC: Test Lab Technician

Summary: Set up static, motion, vibration, flow, and environmental tests. Make instrumentation for electrical and mechanical measurements of test conditions. Make neat and complete records of test results. Note and evaluate any unusual events occurring during progress of test for additional reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Makes any mechanical set-up and jigs for same with a minimum amount of supervision. Assists supervisors and engineers to achieve proper test methods and set-up. Sets up and performs vibration test, shock tests, flow tests (both liquid and gaseous), helium leak detection, cycle testing (hydraulic and pneumatic), and environmental testing.
