Get to Know the Team The Illustration Team in Design owns Grab's illustration quality, visual asset systems, and how those assets get into product. Get to Know the Role This role has changed. AI now generates a large share of production illustration. The illustrator's job is to keep that work on-brand and production-ready, and to own the path from a designer's request to an approved asset. Hands-on illustration remains part of the role. Most of the leverage is in reviewing generated work, handling the cases automation cannot finish, and improving how illustration is created at scale. You will report to the Head of Design, Design Tech and be based onsite at our One North office.
