Summary: This occupation requires planning and performing all bench and machine operations (including experimental work) involving the highest degree of specialized skill and knowledge of tool building practice to construct, alter, and construction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Plans the fabrication, lays out and assembles all types and sizes of tools and dies from tool design prints or sketches. Interprets complicated blueprints and assist in planning sequence of operations using higher shop mathematics to compute all necessary dimensions not given on blueprints, engineering sketches or work orders.
