Scope of Position: The Expeditors Ground Network Service (GNS) is a dynamic team that is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of a line haul network that supports all of the Expeditors' products and services. The GNS Team has responsibilities of Customer Service, Network Management, Service Provider Management, Procurement, and Compliance amongst many others. The Transportation Planner is a GNS Central position assisting in all aspects of daily line-haul network operations and support. Main focus on administration and branch support, but will also assist in monitoring all carriers and ad hoc activity for on-time departures, load tracking in transit, and timely arrivals.
