The Palletizer is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. This role will operate strapping machines and automatic palletizers and supplies load-building materials. The Palletizer will: Maintain supply of pallets, tier sheets, shrouds, strapping and other material required for palletizing and strapping ware Check for proper application of straps around pallet loads (bulk and cased); places string ties and manual straps when required Operates automatic palletizer and automatic strapping machine, to prepare load of ware Unjams strapping machine and automatic palletizers as required Straightens loads, replaces bottles, discards damaged bulking materials, and checks load integrity Checks oil level in VFC regulators of automatic palletizers Identify problems with equipment, may make very minor adjustments and reports…
