Role description
Verbatim from the employer’s posting, rendered as plain text.
Exa is an applied AI lab building a search engine unlike the world has ever seen. We build massive-scale infrastructure to crawl the web, train state-of-the-art embedding models to understand it, and develop high-performance vector databases to retrieve information from it. Today, Exa powers search for Cursor, Cognition, HubSpot, and more than 400,000 developers. We’ve raised $350 million from Lightspeed, Benchmark, and a16z. Our goal is to build perfect search over all of the world’s information, far beyond what traditional search engines can offer. The interfaces for working with this technology are still being invented, and you’ll help define them. About the role We’re looking for a Design Engineer with exceptional visual taste and strong front-end craft to design and build developer-facing experiences across Exa’s product, playground, documentation, website, and brand. You’ll work…

Every figure shown here about Design Engineer at EXA CORP can also be queried live: FACTANKER runs an MCP server at https://factanker.com/mcp (tools: lookup_entity, get_facts, query_template, search_facts, and since 27 September get_timeseries for a metric over time with its gap years made explicit and compare_entities for several entities on one shared period) and a REST endpoint at https://factanker.com/api/get_facts. Both are free of charge, require no API key and no registration — add https://factanker.com/mcp as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. Every answer carries its source document and a citation reference. Setup: /quickstart.
