Summary: Responsible for executing and ensuring the integrity of the master production schedule by verifying the timely completion / receipt of planning, tooling, materials, details and sub-assemblies for one or more cost centers. Initiates investigation and involves the key personnel required to resolve problems that may impact scheduled shipments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to: Releases all assemblies, sub-assemblies and shop orders to the floor. Reviews production plan for appropriate action to take or reschedules assembly orders when unable to release due to shortages. Works with all departments that support production (i.e. Contracts, Quality, Purchasing) to meet customer commitments and resolve order scheduling issues.
