Scope of Position: Expected to ensure that the warehouse is running smoothly while adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by Expeditors, with safety being the priority. Ensure that shipments are unloaded, documented, stored, pulled, labeled and transferred to the carrier prior to the applicable cut-offs times correctly. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Safety is the FIRST duty and responsibility for everyone that works in an Expeditors warehouse. Ensure all vendor safety practices are adhered to, instruct others of proper safety practices and advise supervisor of abuses Agents will closely work with the shift lead to ensure a smooth operation for the day and for the week.
