Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer II (ME II) works mainly within the operations group supporting operations and production requirements. The ME II will also support Design and Project Engineering efforts translating requirements into production implementation activities. Based on design requirements defined through drawings and specifications, the ME II plans and prepares manufacturing documentation according to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) practices, including Visual Work Instructions (VWI). The ME II determines equipment, tooling plans, and cellular manufacturing concepts for their assigned area of responsibility.
