Job Summary The Assistant Housekeeper – Public Area is responsible for supervising the cleanliness and upkeep of all hotel public areas, ensuring a clean, safe and pleasant environment for guests and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Supervise the daily cleaning and maintenance of hotel public areas. Ensure the lobby, corridors, washrooms, lifts, restaurants, function areas and other public spaces are maintained to hotel standards. Assign daily duties and monitor the performance of Public Area Attendants. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained. Ensure cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies are used correctly and safely. Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when required.
