CNC Turner - What does the job involve? The main purpose of the position is ensuring the best manufacturing techniques are carried out within the Machine Shop by practical application of the most appropriate methods of programming, setting and operation of the machine tool/tools and to stimulate an atmosphere of continuous improvement. Hours of work: 39 hours per week. Core shift - Monday to Thursday 6.45am to 3.30pm and Friday 7.00am to 1.00pm with 30-minute break for lunch CNC Turner - What will my responsibilities include?’ Setting and operating of CNC lathes, with an understanding of programming knowledge. The ability to carefully follow procedure in terms of process through set-up sheets etc. Be able to interpret technical drawings with a good understanding of geometric dimensions & tolerances.
