Scope of Position: Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Import department. This position is an onsite position at our Uniondale Location Schedule: Thursday- Monday 3:00 PM - 12:00AM [5 days a week] Responsibilities: Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow Input accurate and timely data into operating system Track and trace Air Import shipments Manage department’s shipment exceptions, including shortages/overages/damages Work directly with warehouse employees to ensure certain shipments are prioritized, based on department and customer needs Ensure timely dispatching of cargo, to meet customer’s delivery requirements Provide transportation and commercial documents to importer’s customs broker Bill clients and vendors in an accurate and timely manner Interact with customers with exceptional…
